AVIS DE DÉCÈS

Clara Ann Hochwart Bragg

3 janvier 1932 – 13 février 2023
Avis de décès de Clara Ann Hochwart Bragg
AUX SOINS DE

Palm Eastern Mortuary & Cemetery

Not wanting to spend another Valentine's Day without her sweetie Clara Ann Hochwart Bragg passed away on February 13, 2023 in Ogden, Utah. She was 91 years old.

Clara was born on January 3, 1932 in Idaho Falls, Idaho along with her twin sister, Kathryn to Alphonzo and Clara Hochwart. She grew up in St. Anthony, ID. “Betty” as she later became to be known and her sister, Kathy did everything together even coming to Ogden to become nurses and meet their future husbands.

On June 2, 1956, Betty married Eddie Joe Bragg. They welcomed a daughter Theresa Ann on January 25, 1958. In addition to being a nurse and mom, she was also an Air Force wife traveling all over the country eventually settling in Las Vegas, Nevada when her husband’s service was over.

Betty loved being a nurse and finally retired from Lake Mead Hospital in Las Vegas, Nevada in 2015 at the age of 83. Betty loved living in Las Vegas, Nevada. She loved her favorite restaurants, her cactuses and yard animals, especially turtles. She was very artistic and creative with ceramics.

She was very generous and loved her people. She was tiny and a firecracker and super stubborn. She was always on the move. I swear she ran everywhere. We love you Grandma Betty!

Betty is survived by her son-in-law, Ken Pilarczyk; her granddaughters, Patresa and Danna Pilarczyk; her two precious great-granddaughters, Jazmyne and McKenna Pilarczyk; and nephews, Steve, Doug and Ted Grinstead. She was preceded in death by her husband, Eddie Joe Bragg; her daughter, Theresa Ann Pilarczyk; her grandson, Kenny Pilarczyk; her mother, Clara Hochwart; and her sister, Kathryn Grinstead.

The family would like to thank the staff at The Auberge for their amazing care, love and support; and also Elevation Hospice for their care, love, and support, especially the amazing JaCoy for her time, love, patience and compassion and always going the extra mile.

Thank you, dad (Ken), for all you have done. It is greatly appreciated.

Clara will be cremated and her ashes returned to Las Vegas, Nevada where she can be reunited with her love at a later date.
