He was born June 12, 1928 in Detroit, Michigan to Clifford and Viola Yardley. He married Carrol Canfield on August 14, 1948.
Although Clifford was a journeyman tool maker, he also excelled at electronics and carpentry. He was employed at the Budd Company in Detroit for 30 years. He then retired and relocated to the Pahrump/Las Vegas area in 1979.
Clifford enjoyed playing drums and started a band with his family. The Family Trio Plus One entertained throughout the Detroit area. His hobbies were hunting and fishing.
He is survived by his wife of 64 years, Carrol Yardley; sons Clifford and Scott, daughter Denise and their spouses; four grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, the family is requesting that donations be made to the Infinity Hospice Foundation, 5110 North 40th St., Phoenix, AZ 85018 in honor of Clifford Yardley Jr.
A Celebration of Life will be held at 11 am July 9, 2012 at the Cabana Mobile Home Park Clubhouse at 5303 E. Twain Ave, Las Vegas, Nevada.
