

Constance Jeannine Smith Clark Moore-Clark was born to William and Leola Smith on June 24th, 1943, she passed away in the comfort of her home on February 12th, 2024. A native of Brooklyn, New York Constance also known as "Connie" and "Sue" grew up with her three older siblings Gloria, William and Donald where they were raised in the Bedford-Stuyvesant section of Brooklyn. Connie spent 30 plus years in New York where she married twice to James Clark and then Otis Moore where she raised her three daughters Melody, Crystal and Gail. Connie moved to California to be with her father and mother who had relocated there. Connie worked for Pacific Bell/AT&T for 30 years until her retirement in 1994.
Connie was known as the "Cookie Lady" with the cookie house in Wilmington Arms and at work for years. Connie was a faithful Catholic from childhood until her passing with extreme devotion to The Divine Mercy and the Blessed Mother Mary. Connie was a CCD teacher at Our Lady of Victory in Compton, California for years where she taught lots of pupils about religious instructions. Connie moved to Las Vegas, Nevada to be with family to start a new chapter in her life in her later years of retirement.
Connie loved her family and friends and spent her leisure time on Facebook uploading daily morning greetings, she loved playing The Sims 2 on her computer and coloring beautiful pictures on her cellphone. Connie had a beautiful sense of humor, and strangers would often walk up to her and start talking to her. Connie was an introvert who loved being at home and doing what she wanted to do.
Connie will be remembered with love by her eldest brother and sister-in-law William and Enid Smith; nieces Karen Tyler, Tracy and Deidre Smith; nephew Andre Smith; 1st cousins Linda and Frankie Smith; her 3 daughters Melody, Crystal and Gail; son-in-laws Craig Jenkins and Vernel Williamson; her 4 grandchildren Shanelle, Constance (her namesake) Devin and Cameron; her 9 great grandchildren Aniya, Deonte, Jonathan, Samaya, Kaol, Donovan, Brynnleigh, and twins Dominic and Dillon. Connie also loving known as "NANA" by her grandchildren will be greatly missed by a host of family and friends living all over the 50 states.
She will be greatly missed and loved.
