It is with deep sorrow that we announce the passing of Daniel J. Gulli Jr., a devoted father, brother, grandfather, great grandfather, uncle and friend to many. A proud Marine and lifelong sports fan, who left us on March 24, 2026, at the age of 85.
Daniel served his country honorably as a member of the United States Marine Corps, carrying with him a sense of duty, strength, and resilience that defined his life. His commitment to service was a source of pride not only for him, but for all who knew and loved him. After his service to his country, Daniel spent many years as a proud Teamster trucking throughout the Midwest and retired from the Las Vegas Convention Center.
He was a passionate fan of the Chicago Bears, White Sox and Blackhawks along with the Vegas Golden Knights and Notre Dame, rarely missing a game and always ready to share his opinions—whether celebrating a victory or enduring a tough season. His loyalty to his teams was unwavering, much like his loyalty to his family and friends. And when a game could not be found, you could find him watching a good John Wayne movie or western.
He found his greatest peace outdoors. Whether casting a line on a quiet morning or heading out on a hunting trip, Daniel cherished time spent in nature. These moments brought him joy and created lasting memories with those fortunate enough to join him.
Daniel is survived by his beloved son Daniel J. Gulli III (Judith), devoted daughter Laura Ann Gulli, loving sister Carolyn Cechota (Theodore), grandson Joseph Daniel Gulli, great-granddaughter Aracelli Vaughan, a nephew and two nieces. He was preceded in death by his wife, Louise M. Gulli, parents Daniel J. Gulli Sr and Eleanor Gulli, and brother, Nicholas H. Gulli.
A service to honor his life will be held on April 15, 2026 at Southern Nevada Veterans Memorial Cemetery, 1900 Veterans Memorial Dr., Boulder City, NV 89005.
