Daniel LaPreta, a resident of Las Vegas, passed away April 18, 2012. He was born Nov. 19, 1933 and raised in New York. He served in the U.S. Air Force during the Korean War. Daniel is survived by his wife, Jennie LaPreta, of 56 years; children, Daniel, Steven, Philip, and Jean Marie; grandchildren Daniel, Andrea, David, Joseph, Nicole, Guy, and Dylan; great-granchild, Layla; brother, Anthony; sister, Rose; and his special companions, Eeny and Winky. Visitation will be 4-8 p.m., Sunday, April 22, 2012, Palm Mortuary, 7600 S. Eastern Ave. Funeral services will be 1 p.m., Monday, April 23. Graveside to follow.
