Daniel McClard Riley

On July 16, 1977 in Minneapolis, MN, Robert and Jill Riley welcomed a beautiful baby boy into this world, Daniel McClard Riley. Growing up Daniel proved to be a handful and determined to live his life on his own terms. Never one to back out of life’s experiences, Daniel became a social butterfly. Enjoying family vacations to Camp du Nord, going on a family cruise, attending concerts, fishing, hunting and camping with family and friends, visiting Ireland with his best friends and of course, the Minnesota State Fair. Being a people person, wanting new experiences and warmer weather, he left Minnesota for Key West, FL. Dan loved his time there and meeting people from all walks of life. He also learned to cook (extremely well!) during his time living there which would become his profession working in a variety of restaurants, bars and casinos. After Florida, Dan moved to Las Vegas where he met his wife, Anecia, on Halloween in 2006. They married in April of 2008 and were happily married until his passing. He was an animal lover and loved nothing more than playing and cuddling with their dogs. Dan would spend his days doing his favorite things: playing guitar, reading, listening to music, watching movies and playing videos games. Dan was the sweetest, most caring, fun-loving, humorous, adventurous person with a beautiful soul you could ever hope to meet. We are all truly blessed to have had him in our lives. He lost his hard-fought battle with cancer and on October 13, 2024 died peacefully at home with his wife and doggies by his side. Until we see you again Daniel, thank you for a helluva ride - you will never be forgotten. We love you always and forever! A memorial service for Daniel will be held Thursday, October 31, 2024 at 11:00 AM at Palm Mortuary - Eastern, 7600 S Eastern Ave, Las Vegas, NV 89123.
