Daniel Keith Trudel

Daniel Keith Trudel, 46, born on March 16, 1979, in Akron, Ohio, passed away on December 19, 2025 at Sunrise Memorial Hospital of Las Vegas, Nevada, following several health conditions. His loss has deeply saddened his family, coworkers around the world, and his close band of friends. He will be profoundly missed by all who knew him.

Daniel graduated from DeVry University with a computer programming degree, then subsequently secured a job with Byers Engineering Company as a Telecommunications Engineer in 2013. He advanced his position to Telecommunications Project Manager, taking pride in his role until his last days.

Daniel once dreamed of securing a position as a video game programmer. He had an immense passion for adventure, gaming, creating, reading and anime, sharing these loves with friends and family. An amazing story teller, he spent countless hours developing and creating adventures with his friends through his love of D & D and other role playing games. This is where Dan found a tremendous amount of belonging, joy, and fellowship. Anyone who knew Daniel will remember his kind heart, loyal friendship, generous spirit, ability to make anyone smile, and his never ending sense of curiosity.

Daniel is survived by his parents Colleen Trudel, Henry and Ariane Trudel, his sister Nicole Fuentes, brother Kyle Everett, his nieces and nephews Luciana and Velouria Fuentes, and Mackenzie and Jackson Everett,. He is survived by Grandparents Betty Jane Daugherty and Mary Jane Henderson, along with many aunts, uncles, and cousins. He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Dennis Daugherty, Lucien and Lorraine Trudel, Carl Henderson, and Patricia Rollins, as well as his birth father, John Francis Mendozzi.
