

He was born in Toledo, Ohio and graduated from Genoa High School. Upon graduating, he joined the United States Air Force, stationed in Nevada. Following his service as Airman First Class, he settled in Las Vegas building a lifetime of successful businesses, including Dan's Plant World Nursery. A horticulturist, with an extensive knowledge of plants, he loved helping his customers with all of their plant needs. Throughout his career, he also assisted many charitable organizations.
Danny loved traveling, golf, cooking, classic cars (especially his 1955 Chevy Belair) and his immensely large collection of Doo Wop music.
Danny was preceded in death by his parents, Joseph and Patricia Miklosko; his brothers Jerry and Tommy; and sister Nancy.
Danny will have many survivors to carry on his legacy beginning with his wife Deborah Miklosko; his children: Leslie (Kirk) Carpenter, Laurie Delre (Don Martin), and Sam (Marie Tomao) Miklosko all of Las Vegas, Nevada, Christopher (O De Rose Martin Mailhot) Hirtz of Quebec, Canada, and Alysia (Scott Schenz ) Napolitano of Crestline, Ohio; grandchildren: Victoria Delre, Alexis Delre, Tanner Hansen, Luke Martin, T-Tat Miklosko, Steven Chase Applegarth, Julia Ocean Hirtz, Jacob Alexander Schenz, and Scarlette Hope Mailhot; great-granddaughter Lily Delilah Applegarth; first wife Connie Miklosko; and his brothers Joseph and Paul Miklosko.
Services to honor Danny will be held at the Southern Nevada Veteran’s Cemetery on April 28, 2022 at 9:20am. A Celebration of his life will follow the service.
The family is requesting donations to the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society in lieu of flowers.
