Danny Eugene Somdahl, age 77, of Las Vegas, a retired rancher and truck driver, passed away on Monday, January 27, 2025. He was born in Richland, Washington, on July 14, 1947.
Dan had a passion for photography, capturing the beauty of nature through his lens. He was also an avid firearms collector and enjoyed woodworking, creating beautiful pieces. He often shared these hobbies with his family and friends.
He is survived by his children, Jamie Price, Mike Somdahl, and Tom (Jen) Somdahl; his grandchildren, Conner and Keenan Price, Ethan, Natalie, Sofia, and Sydney Somdahl; his sister Sandi Naimy and his brother, Gary (Cathy) Somdahl.
A Celebration of Life will be held in Montana in the summer of 2025.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations to the Epilepsy Foundation or the Wounded Warrior Project in memory of Dan Somdahl.
Arrangements are entrusted to Palm Southwest Mortuary, Las Vegas, Nevada.
