Denice Marie Brady

Denice Marie Brady, 93, passed away on August 30, 2013 at the Life Care Center in Las Vegas, Nevada. She was born on October 9, 1919 in Los Angeles, California.  She had two daughters Michelle “Mimi” and Catina. An interment was held on Wednesday, September 18, 2013 where she was placed with her husband, Peter Paul Brady Genchi, at the Palm Eastern Cemetery in Las Vegas, Nevada. During her early years in Los Angeles, Denice lived a glamorous life as a model and actress signing with Universal Studios.  She also spent time in Ft. Lauderdale, Florida; Chicago, Illinois; and Las Vegas, Nevada where she worked as a cocktail waitress retiring from the industry at the young age of 79 years. Her interests included shopping and the love of animals.  She remained active throughout her entire life.  Her makeup, hair, and attire were always impeccable.  Denice spent the last 15 years back in Las Vegas where her daughter, Catina, devoted much of her time and energy as her caregiver until she passed away from Alzheimer’s. She was preceded in death by her husband Peter, and her daughter Michelle Dipetta. Denice is survived by her daughter Catina Genchi; grandchildren Catina Schneider and Nicole Dipetta; four great-grandchildren; and son-in-law John Dipetta.
