Deven Jene Mays

Deven is survived by his mother, Stacy; his wife, Brianna; his grandmother, Linda; his sisters, Amaris and TerriRyan; his five beautiful children, Leyla, Wyatt, Carter, Mayson, and Asher; and two amazing stepsons, Jensen and Jayce, whom he loved no less than his own.

Deven was loved endlessly by countless people. He took great joy in the artistry of tattooing and turned it into his career at Vanguard Tattoos, where he shared his talent and passion with so many. Deven loved family above all else, and his loyalty to those he loved was unwavering. He was fierce and had a tough exterior, but anyone who truly knew Deven knew he had the softest heart on the inside—a mama’s boy through and through. His heart was enormous, and so was his willingness to help those in need.

Deven's departure from this world will be felt immensely by all his family and friends, but we take comfort in knowing we will see him again one day.
