Dolly Garcia Booth

Dolly Garcia Booth, age 78, a long-time resident of Las Vegas, NV, and former resident of Huntington Beach, CA., passed on to eternity on January 27, 2013 in Nevada. Born in Indio, CA to Lupe and Eva Garcia, Dolly was 1 of 5 sisters: Doris, Lupe, Eva, and Nancy. Dolly met Jerry, the love of her life, at Basic High.

Dolly was a former president of Beta Sigma Phi, a dance instructor, and office manager for NS Nevada – a company co-owned with husband Jerry. Dolly was a devoted wife and mother, who was artistic, loved the ocean, enjoyed travel, painting, hosting family gatherings, and was a great cook. Dolly was a compassionate widow and friend to many walking the same path.

Dolly was preceded in death by her parents (Lupe, Eva), husband (Jerry), and sister (Eva). She is survived by three sisters (Doris, Lupe, and Nancy), four children, (Rae Lynn, Mickey, Vera, and Kurt), twenty grandchildren, and twenty-six great-grandchildren.

Services will be held at Noon on Saturday, Feb. 2nd, at Palm Mortuary at 7600 S. Eastern Ave., Las Vegas, NV. More info is available at www.palmmortuary.com. Memorial donations: American Cancer Society.
