She was born Dorothy Pearl Hugo in Wellston, MO. August 25th, 1918. The family moved to Pasadena, CA. in 1930. She was preceded in death by her beloved husband Gerald C. Clayton of 69 yrs. Dorothy was a Salvation Army Officer for 24 years and an employee of the United States Postal Service for 16 years. She is survived by her daughter Cynthia L. Ranaldi, grandsons Robert Hudson (Samantha), Gerald Hudson, Benjamin Hudson, Christopher Ranaldi, Jeffrey Ranldai (Kim), step-grandson Peter Ranaldi Jr. and granddaughters Tonya Wright (D.J.), Katrina Tirado (Indio Sr.), Melissa Carranza (Mario), Kristine Ranaldi and Andrea Ranaldi. There were also 27 great-grandchildren and 3 great- great-grandchildren. She also leaves behind Commissioner Bill and Gwen Luttrell who were like family to Dorothy.
