Very sorry to hear about the passing of Eddie.  I knew him from his management of the Viera Residences after I was introduced to him by a board member.  He was always there to greet me with a a smile and always had time to sit down and catch up on everything from politics, the economy, the Viera property and family. His smile was contagious and his personality warm and welcoming. I am saddened I did not get to see him my last trip out to Nevada.  Hopefully the family can take some comfort in knowing that the impact he made on those he interacted with was exceptional and will not soon be forgotten. Rest in peace my friend.

Eddie truly was one of a kind. I always planned my day around servicing his account because I knew we would be in his office talking for hours. He always was encouraging and building belief in me. In the 7 years knowing and working with him, he left a major impression on my life.  Eddie will always have a special place in my heart. He will be dearly missed.

I was so saddened to hear of Eddie's passing. Even though we had not be in contact for years I have thought of him often. Growing up and living in the same neighborhood as the Rizk family, Eddie and I became good friends, really like a brother and sister. He was always the life of the party with our group from Teen Club at St. Elias. We took our first airplane trip together to a church sponsored  teen conference in Boston and we shared so many laughs and good times. I remember when Eddie first met Paula, he couldn't stop talking about this wonderful girl he met. Even as a very young man, he knew Paula was the one for him. My sincere condolences to Paula, your children and grandchildren, Cheryl, Jerome, Kelly and all of Eddie's family. I know that I was blessed to know  Eddie and share so many good times with him. Heaven has a  special Angel with Eddie's arrival.

    Eddie you will be loved and missed everyday. You were such an inspiration to all of us. You went out of your way all the time to make sure we were good. You have helped us all out with work and everyday life. Rest in Peace my friend we will meet again someday.

I will never forget your smile, your jokes, your guidance and most of all your friendship. Rest in peace with your parents. I do agree with Thom heaven will never be the same with you and David together again. Memory Eternal Eddie.

Our warmest condolences to Paula and the entire Rizk family. Even though we had not gotten together for a while the closeness and love we shared never diminished. We feel blessed to have enjoyed Ed’s kindness and friendship for as long as we did. I cannot be sure about how much peace heaven is going to experience with Ed and David together again. Dear Paula and Family,

Eddy was one of the greatest human beings we’ve ever known. His charisma, sharp humor, and  zest for life touched everyone fortunate enough to cross his path.

Together with our brother David, Eddy created some of the most hilarious and cherished memories of our lives—stories we still share with laughter through tears.

We take comfort in knowing that Eddy and David are together again, surely filling heaven with their irrepressible joy, entertaining the angels, saints, our families, and friends with the same wit and warmth that lit up every room here on earth.
