Our beloved Elizabeth Ann Perry was a caring and dedicated mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, sister and friend to many. She passed away peacefully surrounded by her children early Tuesday morning, January 14, 2025 at the age of 90.
Elizabeth was the seventh of seven children born to Erma and Eldred Raughley in Chester, PA on November 10, 1934. She started working at a local bank while attending Chester High School and met her now deceased husband, Vincent L. Perry at a school dance. They married and when Vincent started Summit Beef Company, she left the bank to manage the company’s books. She devoted her life to her husband and their 5 children, Vincent, Mark, Lisa, and twins Maria and Marcia. Elizabeth radiated a genuine kindness, a gift evident throughout the Raughley family and now her children.
Elizabeth is survived by one sister, Peggy Holler of Allentown, PA, her 5 children, 11 grandchildren, and 12 great grandchildren. She spent the last 45 years living in Las Vegas raising her 3 daughters. When they started their own families, she would willingly jump from daughter to daughter to help with children and life challenges. Elizabeth always traveled with a smile and angelic attitude, after she put her face on. She enjoyed watching sports and was still a Philadelphia Eagles fan even though she lived in Las Vegas. For entertainment, she often went out to play poker machines and see the shows that made Las Vegas famous.
A Funeral Service is scheduled for 8:00 AM on Thursday January 23, 2025 at Palm Eastern Mortuary, 7600 S. Eastern Ave., Las Vegas, NV 89123. There will be a Graveside Service on the premises immediately following the funeral ceremony. The family wishes to extend their sincere thanks to all involved with caring for Elizabeth during her final days.
