Emanuel Louis “Manny” Stein, Pharm.D., 80, a retired pharmacist, of Las Vegas, passed away Wednesday, Nov. 21, 2012. He was born Nov. 11, 1932, in Detroit, MI and was a resident of Las Vegas for twelve years. Manny served in the U.S. Army during Korea. He was a member of the A.Z.O. Pharmacy Group. He was preceded in death by his parents, Jacob and Goldie Stein; parents-in-law, Nathan and Rose Bobroff; brother, Alvin Stein; sister and brother-in-law, Evelyn and Charlie Barenfeld; and sister and brother-in-law, Sylvia and Morris Bobroff. He is survived by his wife, Judy Stein; one daughter, Marcy (Steven) Saxe of Las Vegas; son, Larry Stein of Las Vegas; three grandchildren, Ryan, Brandon and Carly; three sisters-in-law, Sarah Neuman, Ethel (Harold) Bobroff and Cindy Stein; numerous loving nieces and nephews; and many friends from Michigan. Funeral and burial services will be held at 1:00pm on Friday, November 23, 2012 at King David Memorial Chapel and Cemetery, 2697 E. Eldorado Lane. Memorial donations can be made to the American Lung Association. King David Memorial Chapel handled the arrangements.
