Ethel Betty Beigelman, 97, passed away November 21, with family at her side. She was born in New Jersey, but raised in Brooklyn, NY. She was a retired office manager and bookkeeper for a restaurant supply company. Ethel met the love of her life, Leo, when they were both 16 years old. They married at 21, shared 65 wonderful years of marriage and were never apart until his passing in 2006. They moved to Sun City Anthem in 1999 and started the ballroom dancing club. They enjoyed playing bridge, travelling (especially cruising), and spending time with family and friends. In 2015, Ethel moved to assisted living and was so friendly and social, that she was immediately involved with the welcoming committee. While there, she learned to play blackjack, and often broke the bank. Ethel is survived by her daughter, Ronnie and son-in-law Arthur Glicklin of Mineola, NY, daughter; Sheila and son-in-law Norman Kaufman of Henderson, NV; grandchildren; Jeff (Barbara) Glicklin, Andrew (Michelle) Glicklin, Melissa (Marc) Sternfield; great-grandchildren Harry Glicklin, Kayla Sternfield and Naomi Sternfield. Funeral services will be held Friday, November 24 at 11:00 AM at King David Memorial Chapel, 2697 E. Eldorado Lane. Contributions may be made to Congregation Ner Tamid or the charity of your choice. King David Memorial Chapel handled the arrangements.
