Eugene James Hutchinson, age 79, of Henderson, Nevada died on Tuesday, October 26, 2021. He was originally from Great Neck, NY, the son of the late Raymond and Mildred (Richards) Hutchinson.
He received his bachelor's degree from Southern Methodist University and his master's from Stephen F. Austin State University. He also did further graduate work at Southeast Missouri State University and at Queens College, Ny.
Gene worked for many years as a teacher and then as a fitness specialist at The Nevada Test Site.
He is survived by a longtime companion Tamsen Andrews.
There will be no services scheduled at this time.
