Eura Masini

Eura Masini was born on January 19, 1932 in Chavies, Kentucky, a small mining town. She and her family moved from Cincinnati, Ohio to Las Vegas in 1958 to open The Stardust Hotel where she worked as a cocktail waitress. She later worked in many of the Strip hotels including The Dunes, The Flamingo, The Riviera, The Hilton and The MGM. She and her husband, Tony, worked at the MGM at the time of the fire. It was at this point that Eura obtained her Real Estate License. She was the office and property manager of her son Jerry's company, Award Realty.

Eura was strong and independent. She had a goal to create a better life for her family which she accomplished. Eura passed peacefully in her own home June 2, 2016 with her family around her.

Eura is preceded in death by her husband Anthony Masini who passed away on February 23, 2016; her son Stevie who passed at 18 months; her father John S. Gay; her mother Malinda Gay; four brothers; and two sisters.

Eura is survived by her son Jerry Masini; her daughter Melinda Lazear; her grandchildren Noelle and Angelica; her family at Award Realty and many friends.

A visitation will be held at Palm Eastern on June 10, 2016 from 3:00 to 4:00pm followed by a funeral service at 4:00.
