Evelyn Landa, 83, a retired real estate broker, of Henderson, passed away on Thursday, February 6, 2014. She was born in Chicago, IL and was a Southern Nevada resident since 1996. She was a member of Congregation Ner Tamid. She was predeceased in death by her husband, Philip and is survived by her four daughters, Ardell (Dale) Roberts of Kingman, AZ, Shellie (Neal) Checkoway of Jalisco, Mexico, Cindy Landa (M. Christopher) Cox of Kingman, AZ, and Geri (John Michael) Seitman of Henderson; son, Martin (Pash) of Sedona, AZ; sister, Bette (Michael) Lowenstein of Grand Junction, CO; seven grandchildren, Rivkah, Rachael, Estee, Matthew, Stephanie, Seth and Lexi; and five great-grandchildren, Ian, James, Jasmine, KayLeigh and Jade. Funeral services will be held at 9:20am on Tuesday, February 11, 2014 at Southern Nevada Veterans Memorial Cemetery in Boulder City.
