Dr. Felix Albano Albano, a devoted husband, compassionate physician, and a man whose life bridged the humble streets of Dingras and the neighborhoods of America, passed away peacefully on November 3, 2025, in Las Vegas, Nevada.
Born on November 20, 1940, in Dingras, Ilocos Norte, Philippines, Felix was shaped by a childhood of hard work, faith, and family. He grew up in just one house apart from the love of his life, Leticia — his childhood neighbor, classmate, and lifelong companion. They attended the same grade school, the same high school, and later both studied at the University of Santo Tomas, the oldest university in the Philippines — he in medicine and she in pharmacy.
Their shared roots blossomed into a lifetime partnership grounded in faith, respect, and devotion. In 1974, they immigrated to the United States, bringing with them their faith, their memories, and an unwavering determination to build a better future for the next generation. Their marriage was marked by incredible sacrifice and steadfast love — a story of two people who kept a promise that began on the same street and carried them across an ocean.
A physician by calling, Felix began his medical practice in Dingras before continuing his work in Chicago, Illinois, and later in Monterey, Redding, and Victorville, California. He cared for his patients with the same calm and compassion he brought to his family life — listening intently, offering wise counsel, and showing up whenever he was needed.
His Catholic faith was the steady foundation of his life. A devout Roman Catholic, he found strength in daily prayer, the sacraments, and the rituals that connected him to his heritage. Wherever life took him and Leticia, they built communities rooted in kindness, hospitality, and belonging.
Felix and Leticia also shared a deep love for music and dancing — especially the boogie, cha-cha-cha, and the vibrant sounds of the 1960s. Whether on the dance floor or at home, they moved together in perfect step, embodying the joy and rhythm that defined their life together.
At gatherings, when it was his turn at the karaoke microphone, Felix would often sing Frank Sinatra’s “My Way” — a fitting farewell to a life lived with quiet dignity, humility, and resolve.
He is preceded by his beloved son, Christian. Survived by his devoted wife, Leticia Albano; children, Vivienne (Jeff) and Allen (Len); daughter-in-law, Hope; and cherished grandchildren Ella, Tyger, Truman, Matthew, and Ryan.
Felix lived his life his way — guided by faith, love, and service. His steady presence, gentle humor, and enduring example will remain in the hearts of all who knew him.
Family and friends are invited to a Celebration of Life honoring Felix Albano, to be held at Factory of Dreams, 6360 S Pecos Rd, Space 1, Las Vegas, NV 89120, on Wednesday, November 20 at 1:00 PM.
