Franca S. Kegg

Kegg, Franca S., 84, of Las Vegas, passed away June 13, 2016. She was born December 3, 1931 in Castellana Bari, Italy. She came to America with her parents and 6 siblings in 1950 and became an American Citizen in 1955. She lived in Los Angeles, CA where she met and married her husband Frank C. Kegg, in October 1962, and were married for 54 years. They moved to Las Vegas in 1986 and Franca went to work for Mr. Michael Gaughan at the Gold Coast and then to the South Point working for him for 28 years. It was a joy for her to go to work; it was a second family, not a job. She had a sincere and profound respect and love for Mr. Gaughan, his wife and children. Her co-workers were so special to her, especially Tom Jannarone, who she considered the son she never had, her supervising managers, Stephanie and Thue were like daughters, and so many others that held a special place in her heart. She is survived by her husband, Frank, number nieces, nephews and friends. There were three special people that she would definitely want to thank for all the love and support given to her and Frank over the years – Sandy and Wayne Blanchette and Dr. Rafael Mirchou. Visitation to be held 11 am to 1 pm, with funeral service and burial to follow at 1 pm, Saturday, June 18, 2016 at Palm Eastern Mortuary and Cemetery, 7600 S Eastern Avenue, Las Vegas, NV 89123. Franca will be missed and always in our hearts.
