

Frank J. Torello, age 81, of Henderson, Nevada passed away on Saturday, February 1, 2025 of heart failure caused by a stroke at Kindred Hospital in Las Vegas, Nevada. He was born on November 9, 1943, in Rochester, New York, the son of Joseph and Alice West Torello.
Frank attended High School in Rochester, New York where he met his High School sweetheart fell in love, and went on to marry Bernadette Marie Gallotti on June 11, 1966. They celebrated 59 years of marriage this past June of 2024. They settled in Las Vegas in 1973. Frank was a tile and marble setter and worked for the Original MGM Grand Hotel and was part of the grand opening in 1973. Upon leaving the MGM Grand Hotel after the 1980 fire, Frank worked for Catello Tile and Marble which eventually led him to start his own business, Torello Tile & Maintenance, with his son and best friend Joseph Louis Torello. Frank retired in 2015.
In addition to his parents, he was predeceased by his sister, Marilyn. Surviving in addition to his wife Bernadette, are his one son Joseph Louis Torello (57); two daughters and one son in law Laura Jean Torello-Lopez (56) and her husband Mick Lopez (55) and Michelle Torello (54); three grandchildren Danielle Jeanene Dayton (32), Braydon Miguel Lopez (26) and Lexyn Love Lopez (21); two great-grandchildren, Jack Joseph Dayton (8) and Charlie Rose Dayton (1 month); one brother Joseph and his wife Maree.
Frank was a very humble and hard working man. He loved his family more than anything else in the world and above all else cherished his wife Bernadette. Some of his greatest Joy came from being with his grandchildren. He was extremely grateful to be a part of helping his grandchildren become the adults they are today and was so proud of the three of them. Frank loved his dogs and cats that he had throughout his lifetime, he adored all of the family’s pets throughout the years and you can rest assure he has reunited with all of the pets in Heaven. Football season was his favorite and really enjoyed watching football with his family and was a huge fan of the Pittsburg Steelers. Frank was very proud of his Italian heritage and never got tired of eating Italian food especially if Bernadette was cooking. Frank had a rare gift for making others smile and laugh leaving a lasting impact on all who knew him. Frank was always ready to make a joke. His passing has a left a void in our hearts. May his memory be a blessing and may we carry forth his legacy of Love, Compassion and Humor in all that we do…
