Thinking of you this morning. Over 3 yrs already. RIP  I know your watching over us.

There are no words to express our sadness. I miss your phone calls and occasional visits. Not a day goes by that I don’t think of you & the boys. I look at your handsome picture in your uniform. You made us all so proud.

You were the best neighbor ever!!! We were your Trentwood Trl neighbors in New York for 8 years. You, Amy and the boys were the perfect family. Tyler, we enjoyed your visits throughout your high school years. Gary and I shared many life experiences and our ups and downs on raising young boys. You will always be remembered.

I don't have many patients who impacted me the way Gary did. During his exam he told me all about his career, his hobbies, his sons (and all of their accomplishments), and his wife and their marriage. He was beaming with pride, and as I scanned him my heart was simultaneously breaking. I just want his family to know that he spoke so highly of you, and I could tell that he had a very good life by what he was sharing with me. You all made him so proud and even though Gary and I met as strangers, he has never left my mind since.

 So sorry to hear about Gary’s passing. I remember him coming into the Dental Office, he was always very polite and friendly.

Amy my heart and prayers are with you and the boys. I pray for peace and healing for you all.

I’m shocked by this news as we have been in touch weeks up until I heard the news.
We have been childhood friends our whole life , you are the god father of my daughter Tori, our  20 years of playing softball together , the times at Mickey Rats ..I can go on and on..… the day my father passed when I was 9 , your family had taken me to a Braves basketball game, just to console me.

Dear Amy and family,
I was so saddened to hear of Gary's passing.  He always maintained such a positive attitude.  The service held today was very fitting...hearing from those who worked with him.  You could feel their genuine love for him.  He was my lifelong friend.  We were born 1 week apart and lived 2 doors from each other.  So many terrific memories growing up on Nokomis.  My family always loved when he would stop by my mom's house on Christmas Eve to say hello...he was so thoughtful.  My heart breaks for you.  I hope your loving memories of him fills that hole in your hearts...you were the world to him.  Rest in peace, my dear friend.

I haven’t seem Cousin Gary in many years. I remember he always had a smile on his face.     Always happy.  If I remember correctly Gary, his brother David, my Sister Diane and myself got in trouble upstairs on Nokomis.  We somehow broke the ceiling light in their bedroom.   I am so sorry for your loss. To the DeLoach family I am so very sorry for your loss.  Gary was one of my favorite people to work with.  His positive attitude was infectious and he always greeted everyone with a smile.   He was a professional and always wanted to contribute in some way.  Gary will be greatly missed and I’m saddened I did not reach out sooner.  But I do know that Gary wouldn’t want anyone to be sad for long, he would tell us to keep on moving.  

Gary was a wonderful person who never met a stranger. He was always positive and represented the Henderson Police Department and the City with Honor. Gary was patient and always had a can do attitude. We will miss his infectious energy and the impact he had on everyone he encountered. Godspeed 

We are so saddened and heartbroken to loose our baby brother Gary. He had a loving wife and five beautiful sons.                              
He was loving, kind, funny, considerate and always happy. He was proud of his family, his beautiful home, and proud to work as a lieutenant at Henderson Police Department.
My fondest memories is when we were kids and we went to a cottage at Silver Lake and went fishing, swimming and just having fun. I also went to his baseball games, He was very athletic. We also had lots great memories at my parents cabin in Warsaw New York.
He went away so suddenly. We did not get to say goodbye 😢😢😢. I feel he is at peace and not suffering anymore. He fought so hard and he was so positive he would beat Cancer and was talking about going to Disney when his treatments were over.
May you Rest In Eternal Peace my brother and may God look over his family and help them thru this difficult time.  I Love and miss you so much.❤️💙❤️💙🙏🙏🙏

Gary was a Grandfather, Father, Husband, Brother, and Public Servant. That is many roles, but he excelled at all.

As a father, his love for his boys was always evident. They relied on him to show them the way and he did not fail.

As a husband, he was a true partner to Amy. She helped him raise the boys and was always there for them.

As my youngest brother, he always showed a love of life. He was popular with other kids around the neighborhood and grew up loving sports. He was a good student and was never in trouble. I remember Gary sleepwalking downstairs going to the bathroom which startled my mother. Once we could not find Gary, and we found him in the refrigerator, He never did that again.  I remember Gary as he ate pancakes with strawberries and whipped cream where I worked. When I was in Buffalo, I tried to go to his ball games to watch the star shortstop and my Uncle Jerry. As both of us moved to different parts of the country, it was harder to keep up, but we always knew what was going on in each other’s life. I looked so forward to his trips to Florida to visit Disney.

As a public servant, he served his community as a Corrections Officer, He worked and studied hard to become a Lieutenant , When we got together, he always had interesting stories. At the beginning of his career, he had
to drive very long distances to get to and from work, but he was willing to do so for his family.

Gary was the family baby, but in many ways he was more grown up than all of us. I will always love and miss him.  I will miss his smile and laughter.  It is hard to understand why he was taken so early.

Gary set the bar high for kindness, compassion, and respect. He would randomly bring our staff donuts, bagels, or cookies just because. He didn’t take things for granted and always had a kind word and smile to share. You will be missed. 

Lt. Deloach was very caring and genuine. Whenever he worked at the jail, he always brought cookies and his infectious smile. After I came back from medical leave, he left welcome back flowers for me in booking. That's just the type of person he was, always so thoughtful. My family met him once at a pumpkin patch one year. He was there doing his fatherly duty. He was the real deal. He was a great role model for us all. It is an honor and a pleasure to have known Lt. He will be missed. My prayers go out to his family and friends. 

The last 2 months Gary and I would text on Sunday about how he is feeling and what procedure he was doing. After that we would chat about football and his BILLS !  He liked them very much, and at the end of our texting he would add a Rocky clip or eye of the tiger song, I never asked but I am guessing he liked the movies a lot.  Gary was an amazing person, always positive,  always going, you would never guess he was 60!! He will be missed!  I will be watching the Buffalo Bills on Sunday’s don’t be surprised if they go to Super Bowl., With Gary cheering for them in heaven.  God watch over his family🙏🏼

Gary was kind, humble, caring and always present. While he was a lieutenant, it was never about rank, it was always about the people. He took great care to set the example and work with all of us for the greater good. If it mattered to us, it mattered to him. He made me believe; believe that he would be back and in full Gary mode. His passing is so very sad and he will be missed so much. Not too long ago, in the middle of intense treatments, he took the time to call the jail to tell my Friend Angie and me that he was thinking about us and wanted to see how we were. That's the kind of Friend and boss he was. God broke the mold when he created Gary. Rest in Paradise! My condolences to all of his family and friends. Thanks for sharing him with us.

My favorite memory of Gary will be his smile and laughter.  Everything he did was to make you smile.  I’ve never met anyone else like him.

He’s a treasure we can all store in our hearts.  A gift I’ll continue to thank God for.

I didn't know Gary very well, but every time I saw him he always had a smile. I remember a MOOG picnic that Gary, Dave and I attended and had a lot of laughs together. My heartfelt condolences go out to all of you DeLoaches for your loss. Rest in God's Eternal Peace Gary. We will always remember your smile and good nature.

Gary was the youngest sibling in our family which makes his unexpected passing devastating to our whole family. My brother was the kindest, sweetest and most thoughtful brother you could ever ask for. He loved his wife, sons and his family. He was a “Rock” to his sons.  He loved his house which he worked very hard for. He loved where he worked.  My heart is broken that he didn’t get to retire. He always sent me a text on special holidays & birthdays. I know he is with our mom & dad so that gives me some peace and  knowing that he isn’t suffering any more. I will miss you!

Wow what to say.  I guess the best memories were of growing up on Nokomis Pkwy with my brother.  What a great place. Had alot of great neighbors to have fun with. Constantly playing ball in the street. Watched many of Gary's baseball games at U-Crest diamonds. Gary and I were always challenging each other in basketball in the yard among other things. Simpler times back then for sure. Haven't seen ya in awhile brother but know I love you. 😔 Till we meet again. Your awesome brother Dave!
