Born to Josefina and Jesus Rodriguez, George lived a life full of passion, resilience, and heart. He shared a close bond with his brother, Manuel Lemus, and found his greatest joy in being “the best uncle in the world” to his nephews Roman and Sebastian and his niece Olivia. His love for them was immeasurable, and he was a constant source of encouragement, laughter, and pride.
George was an athlete through and through—whether in the Muay Thai ring, on the hockey rink, or out on the slopes snowboarding, he gave his all and inspired those around him with his determination and spirit. Beyond playing, he was also an avid sports fan, cheering wholeheartedly for his favorite teams: the LA Dodgers, Colorado Avalanche, and Vegas Golden Knights.
Those who knew George will remember him as a fighter in every sense of the word—dedicated, strong, and courageous—but also as someone deeply loving, loyal, and kind. His presence will be profoundly missed, but his legacy of strength, love, and passion for life will continue to live on in the hearts of his family and friends.
To honor his lifelong love of sports, the family would like to offer an option for those attending the service: you may wear clothing that represents his favorite teams the LA Dodgers, Colorado Avalanche, or Las Vegas Golden Knights. This tribute is optional, and your presence alone is what matters most. For those who choose to participate, it will be a special way to celebrate his life and the passions that brought him so much joy.
A visitation for George will be held Sunday, August 31, 2025 from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM at Palm Mortuary - Eastern, 7600 S Eastern Ave, Las Vegas, NV 89123. A funeral service will occur Sunday, August 31, 2025 from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM, 7600 S Eastern Ave, Las Vegas, NV 89123.
