Hailee Joy Lamberth, 13, of Henderson passed away on Thursday, December 12, 2013. Hailee was born on December 10, 2000 in Las Vegas. She was a 7th grade Honor Roll student at Thurman White Middle School. Hailee enjoyed soccer, camping, cooking, drawing, and spending time with her family and friends.
She is survived by her mother and father, Jennifer and Jason Lamberth and brother, Jacob of Henderson, Nevada; maternal grandmother, Linda Penkower of Henderson, Nevada; paternal grandmother, Carol Boucher of Green Bay, Wisconsin; paternal grandfather, Ronald Lamberth of Henderson, Nevada; along with numerous aunts, uncles, and cousins. She was preceded in death by her maternal grandfather, Melvyn Penkower of Las Vegas, Nevada.
Hailee was an amazing daughter, sister, granddaughter, niece, cousin, friend, classmate, and teammate to all of those that knew her. The family will host a private memorial service.
In lieu of flowers, the family has asked that awareness be brought to bullying and suicide, and the problems this dilemma is causing tens of thousands of families each and every year.
