Hang Thi Thu Nguyen, 69, a resident of Las Vegas, passed away on November 23, 2025 at Mountain View Hospital. For years, she bravely fought and endured a rare medical condition. She underwent a corrective surgical procedure and after a month-long battle with surgical complications, she ultimately passed away.
She was born on September 6, 1956 in Saigon, Vietnam. Following the Vietnam War, she immigrated to the United States as a refugee on April 30, 1975. She found her soul mate, life partner, and father of her four children at the age of 21, when she married Bao Hoai Trinh on March 11, 1977.
She is survived by her husband, Bao, her daughters Linda Thuy Van, Lisa Bao Tram, Diane Thuy Nga, her son Garry Bao Long, and several grandchildren. Her family is what brought her the most joy in her life, and she brought incredibly joy and happiness to her family. She will be sorely missed and never forgotten.
Funeral Mass will be held at 9:30AM on December 11, 2025 at Our Lady Of La Vang Church. A visitation, funeral, and burial will be held at Palm Eastern Cemetery from 11:30AM to 3:00PM.
