Harold James Reis, 63, of Las Vegas, passed way Jan. 3, 2011. He was born Oct. 11, 1947, in New York, and was a seven-year resident of Nevada. Harold served in the U.S. Marine Corp. and was a retired chief financial officer of the financial services and sports entertainment industry. He was a loving father and grandfather with a passion for life. Harold brought love, laughter and joy into each life he touched. He will be remembered by his spontaneity, generosity and gregariousness. He kept his family on their toes. He was a tri-athelete, martial artist, boater, fisherman, cigar connoisseur and craps shooter. We will miss him dearly. Harold was preceded in death by his parents, Harold and Bernice. Harold is survived by his brother, Stuart; his son and daughter, Christopher and Nicole; and grandchildren, Matthew and Isabella. There will be a celebration of Harold's life from 10 a.m.-noon, Thursday, Jan. 6, at Palm Mortuary, 7600 S. Eastern Ave., Las Vegas. Donations can be made to any charity of your choice.
