

Affectionately known as "Ling," Helen was born on November 7, 1942, in Guam, to Jacinto and Maria Quinata. She is survived by her five children: Thomas Diaz, Uvon (Richard) Zavala, Donna (Marty) Clark, Gina (Kenny) Galloway, and John (Arlene) Diaz. She was preceded in death by her son, Derek Diaz, and her beloved husband, Jose "Papa" Paulino.
Helen is also survived by her sister, Lillian Cruz, and her deceased brothers, Jacinto and Benny Quinata.
Her legacy lives on through her eleven grandchildren: Rich (Nicole) Zavala, Dani (Jeffrey) Alexovich, Brenden (Savanna) Galloway, Jonathan Galloway, Alex Galloway, Destiny Diaz, Delaney Diaz, Desmond "DJ" Diaz, Derik John Diaz, Jaren Macasieb and Andrea Clark. She is also survived by her eight great-grandchildren: Olivia Zavala, Nathaniel Zavala, Noah Zavala, Teresa Alexovich, Elena Alexovich, Pheonix Galloway, Agape Galloway and Axyl Macasieb.
Helen took tremendous pride in her culture as a Chamorro and cherished her and Papa’s deep involvement with the Guam Club of Las Vegas, where she loved connecting with people and families of Chamorro descent.
A passionate cook and baker, Helen treasured gathering with family and friends, creating lasting memories through shared meals and laughter. We will dearly miss her and cherish all the fond memories of our beloved mom, grandma, granny and sister.
Helen Q. Paulino, age 82, of Las Vegas, Nevada passed away on Monday, May 19, 2025. Helen was born in Guam.
A visitation for Helen will be held Friday, June 27, 2025 from 9:00 AM to 11:00 AM at Palm Mortuary - Eastern, 7600 S Eastern Ave, Las Vegas, NV 89123. A funeral service will occur Friday, June 27, 2025 at 11:00 AM, 7600 S Eastern Ave, Las Vegas, NV 89123. A committal service will occur Friday, June 27, 2025 at 1:20 PM at Southern Nevada Veterans Memorial Cemetery, 1900 Veterans Mem, Boulder City, NV 89005.
