Isabel "Beck" Rivera Castro

Isabel Rivera Castro, 85, of Las Vegas, lovingly known as "Beck," passed away January 1, 2025. She was born June 17, 1939, in Guam. Her hometown was Agat where she was raised by her parents, Jesus Rivera and Felicita Carbullido Rivera. She is survived by her sister, Maria Rivera Tenorio and brothers Jesse, Joe, and John Rivera. In death, she joins her siblings Jose, Anna, Dolores, Martina, Roselyn, and Vincent. She is now reunited with the love of her life, husband Francisco Bernardo Castro of Talofofo, Guam, (1935-2011), her beloved daughter Debra Castro Santos (1959-2014), and beloved son, Frank Rivera Castro (1960-2019). She leaves behind four children, Danny Castro, Jeanne (Eddie)Barsano, Karen (Robert) Beard, and Carolyn (Darryl) Goodson. In addition, she is lovingly remembered by 15 grandchildren, 13 great grandchildren, and 1 great great grandchild.

A funeral mass for Isabel will be held Wednesday, January 15, 2025 at 11:00 AM at St. Thomas More Catholic Community, 130 N Pecos Rd, Henderson, NV 89074. A reception will follow.

Isabel will be laid to rest with her husband the following day on Thursday, January 16, 2025 at 9:20 AM at the Southern Nevada Veterans Memorial Cemetery, 1900 Veterans Memorial Dr, Boulder City, NV 89005.
