Soon after graduating from high school, James ventured to Las Vegas and had an amazing 35+ year career as a hairstylist most recently working for Square/Atelier Salon where he positively impacted the lives of so many that sat in his chair over the years.
James had a passion for golf, food, and for helping others. He will be remembered as a loyal son, brother, nephew, friend, and confident, as well as for being the “Funcle” to his nieces and nephews.
James is survived by his brothers Michael and Peter Choy; uncle David Choy; aunt Cora Snow; nieces Ella Choy, Grace Choy, and Skylar Choy; and nephews Gunnar Choy and Rogan Choy.
A Celebration of Life is planned for Saturday, November 13th at Mesa Park in Summerlin and will begin at 3:30PM. All who plan to attend the celebration are asked to wear white.
