On January 14, 2021, James “Jim” Gordon, loving husband, father and grandfather, passed away suddenly and unexpectedly at the age of 64. Jim was born July 18, 1956, in Las Vegas, Nevada. He retired in January 2017 as a fire captain with Las Vegas Fire and Rescue where he served for 36 years. His accomplishments were many and he will be remembered for his care and concern for others. In retirement he learned how to be a “mountain man” in his favorite place, Duck Creek Village, UT at the family cabin. He leaves behind his wife of 38 years, Jerylann Gordon, his sons Zachary (Tara) and Alexander and his three beautiful grandchildren, Grace, Dane, and Ford. A memorial will be held later this year when larger gatherings are allowed. Services will be private.
