

Jean Marie Hager Jean Marie Hager, age 87, of Las Vegas passed away on July 4, 2014. Jean was born in Norfolk, Nebraska on June 25, 1927 to Merlin and Alice Hough. She graduated from Couer d'Alene High School (Idaho) in 1945. She became acquainted with Warren "Hage" Hager, a shipfitter in the Navy, during World War II. They married in 1951 and settled in Bellevue, Washington. During the course of Warren's business career, the family also lived in Sunnyvale, California and Centerville, Ohio before moving to Las Vegas in 1970. Jean was an active member of the First Presbyterian Church (now Grace Presbyterian) and Mesquite Club. She is survived by her husband Warren and their three daughters, Susan of Virginia, Carol (Juergen) of New Jersey, and Lois of California, as well as grandchildren Stephanie and Michael. Jean was a loving wife, mother, and grandmother who will be remembered for her kind heart and gentle good humor. She always had a smile on her face and home-baked cookies in the cookie jar. A memorial service for Jean will be held in the chapel of Grace Presbyterian Church, 1515 West Charleston Blvd. (at I-15), on Sunday, July 13, at 5:00 pm. A graveside service will be held at 1:20 pm the following day (Monday) at Southern Nevada Veterans Memorial Cemetery in Boulder City.
