Jeanne B. Vanderpool

Jeanne is survived by her loving husband of 35 years, Bob; daughters Cheri Strange, Luci Ismert, Dolli Walsh, Conni Erlich, and Terri Vasko. She has 17 grandchildren and numerous great- and great-great-grandchildren.

She loved her family and was involved in all of their lives. Her greatest love was her devoted husband, Bob. She always had lots of advice to give whether you wanted it or not.

One thing the family knew was not to disturb her during her favorite soap “Days of Our Lives”. She watched that show for 45 years and the actors became an extension of her family.

Her favorite hobby was bowling, until she could no longer swing the ball. She was very proud to be a “gutter gussie”.

The past couple of years she battled several illnesses. When we thought she couldn’t survive, she would surprise us all. Like her grandson, Steven Ranta, would say, “she was a tough old bird”.

Well the end has come. As sad as it is, the love and the memories she left behind will be cherished by each and every person that was touched by her. She was one of a kind.
