Jerry Gabriel Domingo passed away on Tuesday, December 23, 2025 at the age of 69 in Las Vegas, Nevada, following a long battle with lymphoma cancer.
Jerry was born in Marcos, Ilocos Norte on March 23, 1956. His parents were Crisanto Domingo and Catalina Domingo and is the youngest of two siblings, his sister Aida Parado who had already passed in 2015, and his eldest sister Nerita Abella who resides in the Philippines. He spent his younger days working hard in the rice fields with his dad. He was described as very quiet but friendly in his youthful days while taking his studies very seriously. Jerry went on to attain a vocational degree in Electronics in Laoag City.
Jerry was an active member of the Iglesia Ni Cristo and became a choir member at a very young age. He joined the children’s choir and then transitioned into the adult choir, his passion for his duty felt whenever he performed. It was a few years after college when Jerry met the love of his life, Helen, at a church event. Not long after, he immigrated to Maui, Hawaii in 1985 and went back to the Philippines to marry Helen in the year of 1986. Together, they began their journey in the states. He was passionate in his work and became the go-to person for anything and everything that required maintenance. Jerry was reliable and dedicated to his line of work, so dedicated that he never called in sick from work in all the years he has been in America, even when he was feeling severely under the weather. This showed how much integrity he had for everything he did.
Another distinguishable characteristic of Jerry was that he was never late to anything, or he never liked to be late to anything. He always had to be at least 2 hours early from the appointment time of the event, or work, or meeting. Jerry strived to be punctual wherever he had to go.
While Jerry was well known for his meek and quiet nature, he can open up about his life easily if you took time to get to know him. He showed his love for his family and others through quality time. One of his favorite past times was going to Costco and enjoying the free samples, then driving over to the supermarket and finding the best deals on ingredients he could use for meal prep. He also kept his body strong by drinking green smoothies everyday.
