Born in New Haven, Connecticut, she was the daughter of the late Angelo Orlo and Anna Rapino Orlo. She moved to California in her 20’s and spent much of her adult life raising her family in Southern California and San Luis Obispo, California. She lived her later years in Las Vegas Nevada and the Bahamas, before returning to San Luis Obispo to reside in an assisted living facility. She belonged to a number of social clubs and was an active member of Catholic and Greek Orthodox churches in her respective communities.
In addition to her husband and parents, she is predeceased by five sisters; one brother; and one grandchild. Surviving her are her three children - George Dawson, Sioux Falls, South Dakota; Jeanne Pesch, Las Vegas NV; and Janet Trimmer, Bahamas; 6 grandchildren; and three great grandchildren.
