John is survived by his loving wife, Sally (Hecker), of 48 years. He is lovingly remembered by his daughters, Jacquelyn McGraw of Henderson, NV and Kimberly Flanagan of Thornton, CO; and three grandchildren, Dee Dee, Jack, and Katie Flanagan.
John was born in Youngstown, OH. He graduated from Liberty High School in 1965 and went on to earn a business degree from Youngstown State University.
John served in the National Guard for 6 years. He retired as road superintendent for Liberty Township and was currently employed by Enterprise Car Rental. John enjoyed fishing, softball, and was an avid Cleveland sports and Ohio State fan.
A memorial service will be held at Palm Mortuary, 7600 S. Eastern Ave., Las Vegas, on March 12 at 2PM.
