Jo-Jo Ratnavira passed away on February 28, 2019 after a brief illness. He leaves behind a loving wife, Dayani Ratnavira, devoted daughter, Trina Ratnavira, son-in-law Chris Nakagawa, grandsons Joey Ratnavira and Keoni Nakagawa, his loving brothers, Chinko Ratnavira from Australia and Gamini Ratnavira from Fallbrook, California.
He is one of three children born to the late Sardha Ratnavira and Wimala Joseph of Colombo, Sri Lanka.
He comes from a talented and artistic family and is also a very talented musician. Friends who have known him closely know of his being the life and soul of a party from his younger days.
Jo-Jo loved the Lord with all of his heart and would often be heard to say in difficult situations, “What would the Lord do?” He touched the lives of people with his smile, generosity and sense of humor.
