Jose Margarito De La Torre

Jose M DaLatore age 70, resident of Las Vegas, Nevada since 1971 passed away on November 10, 2024 at Nathan Adelson Hospice after many complications. He was diagnosed with stage 3 Colon cancer while in the hospital.

He was married in 1997 to Terri De La Torre. He was born February 22,1954 in Jalisco city to Margarito and Irene Rosales - De La Torre.

Jose started as a young boy at the age of 9 in Ciudad Juarez Chihuahua as a shoe shiner. He moved to

Las Vegas at the age of 17 in 1971. He was hired at Jerry's Nugget as a busboy, he was later promoted as a barback, just a few years later he became a bartender for 25 years, his career moved on to the Las Vegas Club until it closed down in August 20, 2015. He was a people person and great at his job.

Jose loved going back to home to visit his city, he loved his family and always helped people in need. He also loved socializing, smoking cigarettes, drinking coffee and his rockstar.

He is survived by his sister Rosa; stepson Joe. Daughters Mechelle; Melissa; Victoria; 12 grandchildren, and one great grandson.

A visitation service for Jose will be held Saturday, November 23, 2024 from 10:00 AM to 1:00 PM at King David Memorial Chapel & Cemetery, 2697 E Eldorado Ln, Las Vegas, NV 89120, followed by a funeral service from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM.
