Josepha G. Launico, 94, of Henderson, Nevada, passed away on November 22, 2014 peacefully in her sleep. Josepha was born in Solsona, Ilocos Norte, Philippines on November 29, 1919 to her parents Florencia Guillermo and Maximo Andres. Josepha left the Philippines to Honolulu, Hawaii in 1960, where she met Donato Launico who would then become her husband. They were married on November 26, 1960. Josepha worked as a seamstress for a Hawaiian clothing designer, Tori Richards, for over 25 years. She enjoyed going to the beach with her grandchildren, she enjoyed gardening, crocheting, sewing and singing. In 1980, Josepha moved to Vallejo, California with her husband, her son Peter, daughter-in-law Francine and her two grandchildren Mary and Mark. The family moved once again in 1991 to Las Vegas, Nevada. Josepha is survived by her three children Peter G. Andres, Erlinda Pinol and Conchita Lorenzo; her sister Manuela Castaneda; ten grandchildren; sixteen great-grandchildren; and five great-great-grandchildren; and the rest of her family and relatives.
