Josh had a deep love for life’s simple joys and its unique wonders. He was passionate about the game of golf; though sometimes frustrated by it, he still loved being on the course with his favorite people. He had a special bond with his own dogs, as well as the dogs of family and friends. Even the ones he encountered out and about brought him joy. Though reluctant to have a cat in the house, Josh grew to love his daughter’s cat. An avid aquarium enthusiast, Josh took pride in creating and maintaining beautiful aquatic habitats. He also had a growing interest in houseplants, finding calm and satisfaction in adding greenery to his home.
Josh enjoyed crafting handmade gifts for his family and friends, always putting thought and heart into everything he made. He loved trying new restaurants and had a particular appreciation for traveling to places with beautiful scenery, wildlife, and especially beaches with clear blue water. He had an eye for photography and delighted in capturing meaningful moments and stunning landscapes through his lens. His curiosity was endless—he had a lifelong fascination with the unknown, especially aliens, and was passionate about responsible firearm ownership and marksmanship. Josh was also known for his obsession with researching new hobbies and travel destinations, often diving down YouTube rabbit holes to plan his next adventure or learn something new.
Josh will be remembered for the joy he brought to those around him, his strength of character, and the deep love he had for his family. His presence will be deeply missed and forever remembered.
