Jourdan Rhey Aydalla Dantes

We bid farewell to Jourdan Dantes, a husband, a father, a son, a true friend and a beacon of light who departed from this world on January 13, 2025. Jourdan was born on July 14, 1979 in Manilla, Philippines to Reynaldo and Haydee Dantes and had lived in Manilla until moving to San Jose, California in 1992, then to Las Vegas in 2016.

He was a lover of music and the outdoors. He found beauty in life’s simple moments and encouraged all to do the same. He enjoyed playing guitar, piano, drums and singing; fishing, hiking and traveling. He was a fan of the 49ers, Warriors and San Francisco Giants.

Jourdan worked in security and loss prevention for Sony Metreon and as a commission engineer for several security systems, including: Bay Alarm, Johnson Control, Honeywell and Northland Control Systems.

He leaves behind a legacy of warmth and kindness. Jourdan walked through his life with a gentle strength, touched the lives of everyone he encountered with an unforgettable grace.

Survivors include his wife of 22 years, Maureen “Mimi” (nee Cabanas); children: Chloe and Cassey; parents: Reynaldo and Haydee Dantes and siblings: Jesse (Shereen), Jerico (Bethany) and Jester (April Joy) Dantes.

Visitation will be held on Monday, January 27, 2025 from 1-6pm at Palm Southwest Mortuary, 7979 W. Warm Springs Rd., Las Vegas.
