Judith Carol Schneider, 81, passed away early morning on Monday, February 19, 2024 in Jacksonville, FL. Judy was a graduate of Silver Creek High School. She and her second husband, Rex, owned a craft store, LaMar Crafts, in Clarksville, IN and a custom framing store, The Woodshed, in Sellersburg, IN.
The Craft industry is where she first got inspired with arts and decorations. She went on to write five macramé books, the most famous being “Judy’s Way with Macramé”. She was a member of Tri-Kappa and the Clarksville B.P.W. She was also a Kentucky Colonel
She was preceded in death by her husband, Elmer “Spike” Schneider, who died in 2014, and her eldest son, who died in 2021. She is survived by her sister, Diane Dickson of Evansville, IN; her son, Christopher Johnson, Jacksonville, FL; four grandchildren David Crawford, Mikayla Morfin, Amanda Johnson, and Geoffrey Johnson; and six great children.
Celebration of life services will be at 11:00 a.m. Friday 12 April at Palm Mortuary.
