Judy Kay Bollinger

Judy was born and grew up in Minot, ND. Judy graduated from Minot High School in 1958 - Minot, ND; in 1962, she received her Bachelor of Science Degree in Elementary Education from Minot State College.

Soon after graduating from college, Judy began her teaching career with Minot School District. A few years later, she accepted a teaching position with the Jamestown School District. In 1970, she married her husband, Gerry Bollinger and moved to Wahpeton. In 1975, she began teaching at the Wahpeton Indian School where she taught until she retired in 1998.

Upon retirement, she and Gerry split their time between their Minnesota lake home and their winter home in Henderson, Nevada.

Judy enjoyed spending time with family, traveling, reading, and playing bingo.

Judy is preceded in death by her parents Elias and Esther Olsen and her brother James (Sharon) Olsen. She is survived by her husband of 53 years, Gerry; her sons Darren and Gerry; daughter-in-law Kimberly; grandchildren Allie and Jack; and numerous nieces and nephews.
