Katherine Helen Mary Elizabeth Allred, 24, of Henderson, Nevada, passed away on June 30, 2013 at the St. Rose Dominican Hospital Siena Campus from Acute Respiratory Distress Syndrome. Katie was born July 22, 1988 in Palm Springs, California to Kent and Kathleen Allred. Katie had one sister, Amanda. Katie was a member of the Coronado High School graduating class of 2006. She was preceded in death by her maternal grandfather, Leonard Hudson; her paternal grandparents, Ruby and Pressley Allred; and her paternal aunt, Patricia Panse. Katie is survived by her mother and father, Kathleen and Kent Allred; sister, Amanda Kalnins and husband, Jonathan; maternal grandmother, Louise Hudson; maternal aunt and uncle, Enid Hudson and Philip Hudson; paternal uncles, Gerald Allred, Robert Allred, Ellis Allred, David Terry Allred; and numerous cousins. Memorial services will be held at 3:00 p.m., July 11, 2013 at Palm Eastern Mortuary and Cemetery. Her memorial services will be followed by a reception so that her family and friends can continue celebrating her life. In lieu of flowers, the family is requesting that donations be made to the American Lung Association.
