Libby L. Margo

Libby L. Margo, 90, a retired Accounting Supervisor for Leslie’s Swimming Pool Supplies Company of Chatsworth, CA, passed away on Tuesday, April 25, 2017. She was born in Chicago, IL on November 21, 1926 to Morris and Anna Cutler and was the youngest for four children - Irving, Lillian, Sylvia, and Libby. In 1947, Libby married Seymour “Sy” Berman, soon after, in 1947, they packed up and drove to Los Angeles, CA, with her brother, sister-in-law and niece. They were married for 18 years, ending in divorce. Her second marriage was to Don Margo, a Professor of Calligraphy. That marriage lasted only a few months. Libby lived in California from 1947-1989. She then moved to Sun City West, AZ, living there for 23-years with her boyfriend of 33-years, John Bruther. Finally moving to Southern Nevada in 2012. Libby is preceded in death by her parents, brother, sisters and her daughter, Sue Berman. She is survived by her daughter, Ellen Zipkin (Bob); two grandsons, Scott Zipkin and Phil Zipkin (Shawn Day); and three great grandchildren, Jace, Uri, and Alton. A Memorial Services will be held at 3:00PM on Friday May 5, 2017 at King David Memorial Chapel, 2697 E. Eldorado Lane, Las Vegas. Family requests that Memorial Donation be made to the Alzheimer’s Association. King David Memorial Chapel handled the arrangements.
