Lila Cohen, 88, a homemaker, passed away on Wednesday, January 21, 2015. She was born on December 16, 1926 in New York, NY, to Morris and Sylvia Schachter and was a Nevada resident since 1979. She is preceded in death by her husband of 50 years, Murry Cohen, and survived by her daughter, Cheryl (Bill) Lastra of Las Vegas; two sons, David of Brentwood, CA and Joel (Lisa) of Sydney, Australia; eight grandchildren and three great-grandchildren. Funeral services will be at 2:00pm, Wednesday, January 28, 2015 at King David Memorial Chapel, 2697 E. Eldorado Lane. The burial will follow at King David Memorial Cemetery. Family requests that memorial donations be sent to the Nathan Adelson Hospice. King David Memorial Chapel handled the arrangements.
