Louis “Lou” Kaplan, 93, a sculptors’ representative, passed away on Saturday, November 14, 2015. He was born on Ocotber 23, 1922 in New York, NY to David and Lena Kaplan (nee Perlmutter) and was a Las Vegas resident over 22 years. He served in the U.S. Army during WWII. Lou is preceded in death by his parents and is survived by Esther, his beloved wife of almost 72 years; two sons, Terry (Karen) of Los Angeles, CA and Lee Michael of Pittsburgh, CA; sister-in-law, Iris (Irving) Kaplan of Concord, CA; and beloved friends, Sam and Fran Abramo of Las Vegas. Funeral service will be held at 9:20AM on November 20, 2015 at Southern Nevada Veterans Memorial Cemetery in Boulder City, NV. Family requests that memorial donations be sent to Jewish National Fund, 78 Randall Ave, Rockville Centre, NY 11570-3946. King David Memorial Chapel handled the arrangements.
