

Lyle Wayne Klassen, 71, of Las Vegas, passed away Saturday, May 1, 2010. He was born July 23, 1938, in Saskatoon, Saskatchewan, Canada, and had been a resident of Nevada since 1977. Lyle served in the U.S. Marine Corps and was the owner of Klassen Aviation and Klassen Hangar LLC. He enjoyed restoring old cars and watching NASCAR races. Lyle was especially fond of his grandchildren and his grandson, Skyler "Buddy," was his constant companion. He was preceded in death by his father, James Abram Klassen; and brother, James Allen Klassen. Lyle is survived by his wife, Barbara Klassen; mother, Fern Klassen; sons, Mark (Audrea) Klassen and Jeffrey Klassen; daughters, Deborah (Ken) Bradley, Dorran (Shannon) Hiller, JoAnn (Bobby) Burk and Michelle Klassen; sister, Fern Marie (Larry) Manke; brother, Robert (Sandra) Klassen; grandchildren, Skyler and Destiny Klassen, Spencer and Mitchell Bradley, Laken, Tanner, Caitlyn and Kobe Hiller, Amelia Burk, Ryan (Becky) Klassen, Nicholas and Jared Klassen and Viktoria, Christiana and Erika Klassen; great-grandchildren, Zakery and Isabel Reising and Adalynn Klassen; five aunts; an uncle; and several nieces, nephews and cousins. Visitation will be 4-7 p.m. Thursday, May 6, at Palm Mortuary, 7600 S. Eastern Ave. Graveside services will be at 10 a.m. Friday, May 7, at Palm Valley View Memorial Park.
