Margaret Sue Ostendorf, 77, a resident of Las Vegas, Nevada passed away on December 23, 2015 with her loved ones by her side. She was born on January 1, 1938 in Colorado Spring, Colorado to Mark and Pauline Reid. She found her soul mate on New Year's Eve at the USO after she was brought on stage to get Happy Birthday sung to her. When she left the stage, Roger came up to her and told her he was going to marry her. She responded with, "Get lost, Sailor." They were married 9 months later. She was a lunch lady, girl scout leader, softball coach and a mother figure to many more than her children. She loved traveling the world with her husband, watching Nebraska football with her family, and cooking her families favorite meal, rigatonis. Her positive and loving personality was contagious. Margaret devoted her life to loving her family. She is survived by her husband of 57 years, Roger; her two children Roger and Clarissa, 7 grandchildren and two great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her mother, father and infant son Mark Ray.
